So Why Do You Homeschool? Mimi Davis

Right Now I am finishing up this book. It has been a great eye opening book. I have considered homeschooling for many years and have made the decision that we will do that for our family. Especially after reading this book. It has answered many of the obvious questions and given many sources for further reading.

This book has helped me trust my 'gut' with our decision. Trust myself as a parent and teacher of my children. It has also given me some good information that I can use to combat the world's idea of education. It also has some good answers for the question So Why do You Homeschool?

Hey Angie,
I hope you enjoy the book. It was very entertaining for me. You'll have to tell me, maybe in an email, why you guys decided on homeschooling. I'm interested. I've spent a fair amount of time thinking about school for the girls lately. Ideally I want to consider all options.
Take care,
Kristi

I would love to visit with you about it. I guess because I am a 'hippie' at heart(for lack of a better term) I really like to do things my way. I am into all things natural and it just feels natural to keep my kids around me and not send them to someone else for the day.
